What is your principle in Teaching?

I have the positive outlook in my teaching as a profession. I always understand my task and responsibility. I assured that my students will benefit in my teaching. I will make sure that no child will be left behind.

For you what is the meaning of 21^st century teacher?

A 21st century educator must be a master of technology in the classroom to help students learn better and faster. 21st century teacher is able to adapt to whatever comes his or her way. 21^st century educator is someone who is creative in the delivery of instruction, developing not just the cognitive but also the soft skills as well as emotional intelligence of the learners.

What practices did you use in classroom management?

I am more focused on teacher-student relationship. Building healthy student-teacher relationships is essential to overcome classroom culture, and even sets the stage for academic success.

How do you apply networking in Education?

Networking is very essential in education. Networking is a strategy on how you deal with your stakeholders. They are a big help especially in promoting quality education.

Example of IM’s

Instructional materials are the tools used in educational lessons, which includes active learning and assessment. Basically, any resource a teacher uses to help him teach his students is an instructional material. Example of books, worksheet, graphic organizers, etc.

Challenges of being a teacher

My biggest challenge in my teaching from my first year of teaching up to now is how to deal or balance the different learning needs of my students. In this situation, I always think on different pedagogies or methods in able to deliver quality instruction to my students.

What is your inspiration in teaching?

My inspiration to love my teaching of course my family and my students to become productive and will learn a lot from me. I need to strive to be the best version of myself to inspire my student.

What is your principle in Teaching?

Lead and teach with integrity that even if there is no eyes looking, you still perform your duties to the best of your abilities.

For you what is the meaning of 21^st century teacher?

A 21^st  century teacher is someone who is able to adapt with the demands of the educational system may it be ICT integration, old school lesson preparations and IM’s making and still manages to transform and make a difference to the lives of the learners.

What practices did you use in classroom management?

I look at learners straight to their eyes when they become unruly without scolding them and putting them to shame and when everything’s already fine, I tell them the importance of RESPECT, that is how I manage the class while teaching.

How do you apply networking in Education?

Networking is great to help learners, so as a teacher, it has to be integrated since it is a good platform in giving information to the learners, though so, it has to be used properly and not too often since not all learners has an access to such.

What is your inspiration in teaching?

My inspiration in teaching is the thought of fighting illiteracy. Not everyone has an access to quality education. I am one with those who want to let every Filipino educated so that they will be able to defend themselves from the challenges of the society.

Based on many information that I been gathered with one of the best professor here in municipality of Sta. Cruz it helps me a lot to understand better about teaching. Teaching is not only giving lesson every day but also building a healthy student-teacher relationship and also teaching them how to RESPECT which is one of the most needed in one classroom. And as a 21^st century educator/teacher we must be able to adapt in this modernization world and be a creative teacher in order to deliver instruction using different instruction materials, and help them to develop not just the cognitive but also the soft skills as well as their emotional intelligence.And Mr. Rafanan thought to me as a future teacher that there is “NO CHILD WILL BE LEFT BEHIND” and helped the student to be more PRODUCTIVE. And Mr. Elevado also thought to me that we must be producingan “EDUCATED STUDENT WITH A WELL MANNERED” and a teacher must be inspired by a thought of fighting illiteracy.

Classroom rules and schedules lead to a new educated student Classroom rules and schedules had a biggest impact in student specially in molding their behavior. As a part of classroom management there must be a rule that may student help the student mold their personality or behavior, for example “Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak” in this rules the student learned to respect and be patience. And giving rules there must be a consequence that didn’t follow as a sign for their misbehavior which is reasonable and logical. Giving them consequences also mold their personality with developing of being responsible on their doings it may be bad or good. And as a teacher part of our job the student must have a new knowledge with our time on them, so as a teacher we had a big responsibility to help the student learned things on us. As a part of classroom management classroom schedules must be used properly. “The best behavior plans are excellent academic lesson plans.” – source unknown This quote had a lot of meaning its means the teacher who had used their time appropriately while their teaching must be excellent in molding behavior of student. Classroom schedules lead to the enjoyable class so the student must has interest to learn. For me as a teacher we must know how to implement classroom rules and had a classroom schedules its help our students to gain more interest to learned and mold their behavior. As I can see with our help our student may lead to the educated man with well mannered

As a teacher my mission is to help my students to become more productive in this society in present as well in the future. And to make it possible I need to do my best to engrave in their heart what is the real essence of having education in their life. Like our parents always said “Education is their legacy to us that no one can get it beside you.” And it is one of the most important things in this world. Our perception of being educated person it is helps us a lot in life because you can get work easily, you can build or run your own business and earn a lot of money especially if you have a high degree. But for me being EDUCATED is not only having a high degree in order to earn a lot of money but also having a proper manner like having God in their life, giving importance in small things, respecting each of person, helping each other, contented in what they have, and strive in their life in order to chase their dreams come true. What is the essence of being well educated when you are not totally mannered. And that perception I want to engrave in their heart as my daughter/son because I believed we need to produce an educated person who had a proper manner in order them to be a productive in our society.

They say nothing is permanent in this world and only changes are permanent. Our education system is one of the things that change from the traditional system to modernizing system. In this modernizing world the 21^st century teacher is needed to know more about technology because its play a big role in education now a day. It is not technology that is having the biggest influence on what we do; it is the speed of change being thrust upon us. We also have more access to information and ideas, so we can do better. If you know better, you have to do better. As a 21^st century teacher you must be adapter because the only constant that we can count on education is change. 

As the world continuously moves forward, if you stand still, you are ultimately falling behind. We do not have to change everything, but we need to continuously evaluate our practices and the impact on students to grow and get better. New resources and initiatives will always be part of education, and we need to critically think about them, and ask questions to move forward, but we need to model the same openness to learning and change that we expect from our students. We have to be in the mindset where innovation in the norm, not the exception. As a we need to look at what our students need and create opportunities for them to learn in deeper and meaningful ways. They will need to become this in their world, and hopefully it is because of us, not in spite of us.

As a student and a future teacher we need to know what is the appropriate philosophy to apply in students in order to them to learn. “Experience is the best teacher and the worst experience is the best lesson”. One of my unforgettable experience as student is wanting to learn but my teacher is too lazy to teach because he  is busy watching movie in his room, and you only need to do is to wait when he want to teach you. The more I think on that experience the more I want to become a teacher and able to grab opportunity to help a student to learn what is needed to be learned.

As a teacher you need to show in students what is the real meaning of the world and giving experience helps a lot the students to mold his/her cognition and manage their own emotion with an environmental factor that influence their learning process.

Education should be experiential and focused on the needs and interest of students. Student’s interest should be springboards for involvement, skills, and subject matter. Schools should prepare students for the realities of today to promote an interest in solving problems, discovering new things, and figuring how things work, teacher should provide children for inquiry and discovery and also education should promoting social consciousness which is best taught or modeled through a democratically run classroom.

Experiential learning can be good for helping people to enhance more their strengths while learning a new things and develop their weakness. The more experience that we got and the more lesson that we learned. In facing this real world we encounter the difficult things and sometimes we failed. And that failure teaches us a lot of lesson to more strive. And every single day we learned a new things and that is a blessing.

I believe God gave each of us a different talent that is unique to others. So as teacher it is destined that you are born with terrific talent that can be used in doing something to change the world and must be excellent to his/her job as an educator so the learners must be also excel.

Teacher is an adorable person who had compassionate heart on his/her job because if you love your work then you gave your best to educate the learners. Teacher is a new hero because we need person like them to change this world.

Teacher is exceptional in our past and a remarkable person in our future because they only teach us what is the best for us so that we can have a better future that we can remember when we reach our goals in life.
